	Palettes for Paintings: Letter from an Artist "Bonnie, Thought I'd take the time to tell you how much I have enjoyed your Perfect Palettes book. I am a portrait artist by profession, but this past year also began painting in an early Cubist, fauve-expressionist style as well. The work is quite a bit different from my "regular" painting style; so much so that I paint them under a different name: "Chase Web". Pure fantasy, romanticized subjects...bright, light & whimsical subjects. The important part is I began with your palettes driving my color recipes. While I haven't always been true to the tints, I have found the recipes work beautifully..... 'What's good for the goose is good for the gander'; and I have found color palettes for "decorating" are equally applicable to fine art. My work is all about color, but the fact that in the past I haven't always been confident of my color strategy has been a challenge. The work has sold extremely well, and recently several publishers have contacted me regarding open edition prints of these new works. I have told them your "Perfect Palettes" have proven to be my home for color strategy.
